Heavenly Father

Jeremiah 33:6
” ‘Nevertheless, I will bring health and healing to it; I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security

Heavenly Father,

When my dad was ill with cancer and preparing to meet you in the sky,

No one would believe he was so close to leaving this world,

they said it was a lie.

I fought constantly with doctors and nurses telling them to wake up,

but because they were the experts, they took it badly and were abrupt.

They ran tests to put an end to the lunacy of the crazy daughter insisting it is so,

That was on the Monday, and by the Thursday,

my father was called to be with Jesus,

he had to go.

The doctors and nurses were stunned, who is she? how did she see?

I told the Doctors, I am nobody and did not know,

but it was Jesus who spoke to me.

Jesus came and told me to go and take care of my dad,

I hadn’t seen him in over ten years, but it was time to be there for him, but not to be sad.

As soon as I laid eyes on my dad, deep in my heart I just knew,

I wasn’t there to pray for his healing, but to care for him til he gets to you.

The Doctors and Nurses responded saying if Jesus is in control, why didn’t your dad heal?

I told them he did, the moment he past away, he was pain free,

and now before Christ he does kneel.

But my dad came not to be healed in the way the world sees he must,

But to teach the Doctors and Nurses that there are things beyond this world,

in which they must trust.

Through the painful experience that our family went through, fighting the Doctors all the way,

My dad became an example of how not to ignore families and to hear what they have to say.

Everyone was so saddened when my dad left to be with Jesus because they did not prepare,

And through our suffering a lot was learnt,

so future patients and families can feel secure, and be treated fair.

I love and adore my dad, what a mighty and blessed soul is he,

I have no doubt he is in heaven, telling Jesus how it should be.

He was quite the character, a gifted, loving and generous soul that walked this Earth,

And now he holds company with God’s agents, since his Heavenly Birth.

I pray that you take care of my dad, of which I know you will,

I will see him again, when I join you in Heaven,

I can see that day clearly, what a thrill.

The family lives in peace and has healed now as we witnessed policies change for the better of mankind,

And it was all in God’s Glory, so future patients will be heard and Doctors will search deeper,

until a solution they will find.

Many families will not have to suffer or endure the pain that we did,

As Christ and my dad taught them a thing or two about bad judgement,

and their pride Jesus did rid.

Healing comes in many shapes and forms, but we are limited in our view,

Some times we just need patience and allow time to take it’s course, and the healing comes gifted,

with a message directly from you.

Please tell my dad to put the kettle on, ready for when I get there,

And we will sit together with Jesus, loving and laughing, with a Heavenly stare

WORTH THE TRIP “Dad’s Empty Chair”

~DADDY’S EMPTY CHAIR~*┼* .♥´´¯`•.¸¸.♥

A man’s daughter had asked the local minister
to come and pray with her father..
When the minister arrived,
he found the man lying in bed with his head
propped up on two pillows.

An empty chair sat beside his bed.
The minister assumed that the old fellow
had been informed of his visit.
‘I guess you were expecting me’, he said.
‘No, who are you?’ said the father.
The minister told him his name and then remarked,
‘I saw the empty chair and I figured you knew
I was going to show up.’

‘Oh yeah, the chair,’ said the bedridden man.
‘Would you mind closing the door?’
Puzzled, the minister shut the door.
‘I have never told anyone this,
not even my daughter,’ said the man.

‘But all of my life I have never known how to pray.

At church I used to hear the pastor talk about prayer,
but it went right over my head.’
I abandoned any attempt at prayer,’ the old man continued, ‘
until one day four years ago, my best friend said to me,
‘Johnny, prayer is just a simple matter
of having a conversation with Jesus.’

Here is what I suggest: ‘Sit down in a chair;
place an empty chair in front of you,
and in faith see Jesus on the chair.
It’s not spooky because he promised,
‘I will be with you always’.
‘Then just speak to him in the same way
you’re doing with me right now.’

‘So, I tried it and I’ve liked it so much
that I do it a couple of hours every day.
I’m careful though.
If my daughter saw me talking
to an empty chair, she’d either have a nervous breakdown
or send me off to the funny farm.’

The minister was deeply moved by the story,
and encouraged the old man to continue on the journey.
Then he prayed with him, anointed him with oil,
and returned to the church.

Two nights later the daughter called
to tell the minister that her daddy
had died that afternoon.
Did he die in peace?’ he asked.
Yes, when I left the house about two o’clock,
he called me over to his bedside,
told me he loved me and kissed me on the cheek.
When I got back from the store an hour later, I found him.

But there was something strange about his death.
Apparently, just before Daddy died,
he leaned over and rested his head on the chair
beside the bed. What do you make of that?’
The minister wiped a tear from his eye and said,
‘I wish we could all go like that.’
